Current events what is going on in our school... „ The Earth Day”          On April 20th we celebrated „The Earth Day” . During the festivity the winners of the declamation contest which had been held earlier presented their poems. The prizes in the art competition went to- Karolina , Kinga from III gymnasium class and Agnieszka from I gymnasium class. VI primary grade prepared the performance „The Courtyard Happening”. They tried to convince the public that “it is necessary to take care of the tidiness around us every day. The IV graders were talking about a very important problem of throwing away rubbish and making our environment dirty and full of old washing machines, refrigerators and other equipment which are often found in our forests. Marta from VI grade prepared the presentation concerning water protection and the whole ceremony was conducted by Misia and Sara from I gymnasium class. The foresters invited to our school told us lots of interesting facts concerning woods and forests protection. The final part of „The Earth Day” was the tidying and cleaning the schools area and planting trees brought to us by the foresters. More pictures from „The Earth Day” celebration... And the winner is...          Mikołaj from III primary class proved that he had mastered English alphabet because he won the between-school competition for III primary graders ”Master of English Spelling”. Monika Bilska Added 17.04.2012. “Four weasels and a fox"          On 13 April on Friday 9fortunately it wasn’t unlucky at all) the members of a theatre classes presented the performance “Four weasels and a fox” to their younger friends. Gosia primary class VI Congratulations !       On the occasion of ”DAY OF THE EARTH”” I am inviting everyone to take part in the art and declamation competition. ”Remember about the Gardens” is the motto of the declamation part of the contest which will be held on April 19th 2012. Each participant must prepare one poem connected with nature. The ones who need help will be given a hand to choose the poem. The registration deadline is April 11th 2012. SKYFLIGHT          The students of ZS 22 are very eager to participate in this year’s Lent retreat. During yesterday’s meeting the students of primary school threw away all the stones which sybolized people’s sins, just to become lighter. Then the vehicle was built and its aim was to reach the heaven. It was called SKYFLIGHT. The cross was its engine and the steering wheel was a heart. Today the children were talking about the road signs to make the journay easier. The last thing was the invitation for the next day’s visit at the mechanic’s. Added 27.03.2012. The contest „KANGAROO” has taken place           On Thursday 15th March the students of our school took part in the International Maths Competition called „Kangaroo”. IV INTERSCHOOL COMPETITION FOR VI PRIMARY GRADERS ”FAMILIAR WITH MATHS”          The Group of Schools no 7 invites the students of VI primary classes to take part in the competition „Familiar with Maths”. The event will take place on 24 April 2012 at 2 p.m. Younger students can also participate in the contest. There will be no entrance stage so everybody who is willing can enter the competition. A NEW CLASSROOM        After we have come back from our winter holidays, there was a surprise waiting for us – a brand new classroom. There is some advice that each of you should take under consideration spending one’s free time outside: - Remember to use only guided ice-rinks. - Do not practice skating on lakes and other natural water containers because the ice can be too thin. - Stay away from the places with unknown objects such as bottles, tins, cans – they may contain dangerous substances. - Do not play with matches and other device connected with fire. - Be careful using the electricity. - Beware the medicine like pills, tablets that are not known and not intended for you. - It is easy to get cold during this time so do wear proper clothes. - Do not approach unknown and wild animals – they may be sick and dangerous for people. - Never open the door to strangers. - Put the important telephone numbers in the visible place to be able to use them in an emergency. 997 – Police 998 – Fire Brigade Service 999 – Emergency Ambulance Service 112 – The Rescue Centre Added 10.02.2012. For this money we bought 50 big tins of animal food. Apart from that all other donation will be transported straight to Rozwarzyn: blankets, towels, pasta, rice and much more. A Great Ball       On 10th January a fancy dress ball was organised by The Students’Autonomy for the students of 1-1V primary classes. The leading students were Ola, Justyna, Paulina and Gosia. VALENTINE’S CONTEST!        All students of IV – VI primary classes are invited to take part in the „Graphic IT Competition”. Your task is to prepare an art project on the theme of Valentine’s Day. The third Mock        On Thursday 12th January the VI primary graders wrote their third Mock - the exam after the VI primaty class. This time the exam paper was prepared by the OPERON Publishing House. For 60 minutes they thought about EURO 2012..    Added 12.01.2012. Christmas Eve Supper       On Wednesday the students met with their class tutors at Christmas Eve supper. In beautifully decorated classrooms we shared Christmas bread, gave best wishes to each other, sang carols and ate delicious dishes prepared at homes by the students. After that the Christmas Concert took place together with a Nativity Play presented by II lower secondary graders. Added 4.01.2012. First stage of a maths contest       On Friday, December 9th the first stage of mathematics competition was held. Its title is „The Master of the Sum and Difference”. The participants had to solve 40 tasks within 40 minutes. The finalists are Tomek, Wojtek, Paulina, grade IV, Dawid, Maciej, grade V, and Dorian, Wiktoria i Szymon, grade VI. Our congratulations!!! THEY HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN THE TESTS        The students of III lower secondary class wrote their evaluation papers on Polish, History, Maths, Geography, Biology, Science and English. NICHOLAS’ TRIP TO TORUŃ         This year the youngest students set off on a trip to look for St. Nicholas in Toruń. The trip started from the visit to the old town. Then we went to The Museum of Ginger Bread where with the help of the Master and the Witch we got to know the mystery of baking traditional ginger bread. We all had a chance to bake our own cakes. Having eaten some of the baked sweets we arrived at Planetarium where we participated in the performance “The Mystery of Bethlehem Star”. At the end we came back to the old town and there... was a surprise waiting for us – St. Nicholas with his helpers who gave us sweet gifts. The trip ended under the monument of the great astronomer Copernicus. Added 11.12.2011 ST. NICHOLAS’ DAY       On Tuesday December 6th we hosted a nice, red dressed Man with a big bag of sweets. An Action „A Pile of Money” has started                  The students of the Group of Schools no 22 have joined the action organised by The Association OUR HOME. The undertaking takes place for the twelfth time. Starting on December 2nd, the money will be collected and given to family children’s homes, foster families and to family emergency service. We often keep some coins in our houses and nobody needs them so please join our action and help the others who need it much more than we do. Let’s show that we are not indifferent to this problem. Good Fun and the Art Lesson in the Museum        Primary graders of I, II, III classes paid a visit in the District Museum of Leon Wyczółkowski where they participated in the activity called ”Mati Mouse in the World of Graphics”. Due to it they got to know what graphics is, the watched an exhibition devoted to the arts of A. Durer and they also dod some tasks connected to the theme idea of the meeting. Sweet Thursday            Today in our school the Students’ Autonomy organised the sale of cakes baked and brought to school by the students. Every break the long queue was standing in front of the school educationalist’s ofice where the whole stuff was collected. The money from the action became the Students’ Autonomy income. Gifts Collection for Animals            As every year our school collects food and other supplies for the animals living in Rozwarzyn shelter. It's a kind of charity collection the end of which is scheduled for the end of September. We are counting on all good hearts. Last year thanls to the donors we were able to buy 11 big bags of animal food, lots of kilograms of barley. pasta as well as blankets and towels. Added 14.11.2011. Polish National Holiday          On the occasion of The Independence Day which is celebrated on November 11th the students of II class Lower Secondary School invited all the classes for the festivity of The Independence Day. The tutors of the performing group were Elżbieta Łatka and Lidia Januszewska. It was a very realistic history lesson which reminded us about the circumstances of gaining independence by Poland which happened after 123 years of national bondage brought to our country by Russia, Austria and Prussia. Added 09.11.2011. Halloween Celebration - A Disco 4.11.2011             The 4th November was a date of the fiirst disco organised by the new Students Autonomy this school year. The party lasted for four hours and for some party goers it was too short. People contributing to the organisation prepared the music, the posters and the decorations according to Halloween atmosphere – Bartek, Sara, Natalia, Marta, Emilia and the tutors – Anna Kryniecka, Grzegorz Kozak, Dawid Lewandowski. HALLOWEEN              On 28th October the students of IV primary class with their tutor Monika Bilska organised the competition for the best Haloween disguise for the I-VI primary graders. To take part in the contest it was enough to come to the festivity in a disguise and to make a short presentation of it. The main leaders of the event were Dorian, Asia and Gosia (IV graders) and they shortly presented a general idea of Haloween. The participant showed their creativity and the sense of humor at the same tme while performing their Haloween outfits. The place of the celebration was full of witches, vampires and skeletons. The teachers were thrilled...              The Teachers' Day is celebrated every year on October 14th. On that occasion the students of the II grade of The Lower Secondary School with the tutors: Olga Baranowska-Porysiak and Justyna Mirkiewicz prepared the comical presentation concerning all the bright and dark sides of teacher's job. What happened on October 13th?              In the morning the youngest primary graders had their great day. They officially became the students of our school. John Paul II             On October 7th the II secondary graders invited their younger schoolmates for a performarnce concerning John Paul II. The additional part of the event was a knowledge quiz, the winner of which wasthye fifth primary class. There were also questions and prizes for the audience. Added 9.10.2011. We have cleaned up       As always in September the students of our school took part in the action called Let's Clean the World. After the presentation on ecology everybody went outside to clean the area around our school. We all remember that it is us who our planet Earth depends on.        Added 18.09.2011.
